Hello and welcome to our homepage

We started our modest web site in March 2009 and we intend in time for it to become a point of reference for like minded people whom have a love for independant overland travel.

These pages currently provide information on how we have designed and built our four wheel drive motor home based on the reliable Mercedes 7.5 ton truck chassis, include detailed specifications of the equipment fitted ( Finished specification ) and our six month shake down trip to Cyprus and back via Turkey ( To_Cyprus_and_back ). As we travel around the globe we will add more information that we think will be of interest and help other travellers.

The web site is most definetly a work in progress, please re-visit from time to time as new information will be added on a regular basic and as time allows, we hope you enjoy sharing our space and perhaps it may spur you on to follow a dream of your own.

Our planned route for the 10 year journey

This is our planned anti-clock wise route around the globe following our shake down trip to Cyprus via Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey in the winter 2009-2010.

Countries we plan to visit include: USA, Canada, Alaska, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakstan, Georgia, Europe, UK. We are not sure about the link from South America to New Zealand but we will worry about thia nearer the time. We are sure the route will change as we go on and also as world politics plays it's part.

Where are we today?

Currently we are now back in the UK making a few changes to the vehicle ready for the journey across to the USA. The vehicle will go by ferry and we will follow by air. We intend to be there for September if all goes well.

Ces pages fourniront des informations sur la façon dont nous avons conçu et construit à quatre roues motrices de notre camping-car basé sur la fiabilité de Mercedes 7,5 tonne châssis de camion, les spécifications détaillées de l'équipement, à travers de notre voyage qui nous sera celui qui prendra mai à 10 ans que nous Voyage dans le monde.
